A painting to remember the iconic Heartland Cafe in Rogers Park, Chicago. A stellar patio, a market, fresh food, live music venue and more- I know this neighborhood spot is missed by all. The cafe served the community for 40+ years. When the building was demolished last year, I decided to capture the lively atmosphere through watercolor.
